Alright, I’ll admit, C&O made C&C look like amateur hour. It was almost a total overload of petrolheadism. Everything from obscure Russian things to highly illegal Japanese cars. I had such a ball.

Model X guy gets it. Can’t see how bad panel gaps are if it’s all open.

I have a feeling that someone called them out and he just opened the whole thing up to avert the question.

I saw one in person but they honestly weren’t as bad as people say.

I didn’t get close enough to any of the ones I saw yesterday to see, but they looked acceptable from far away.

Damn I love that grey 355. That’s a car that I always picture in bright red or yellow, but it looks good toned down too.

Came here for the “highly illegal Japanese cars” left satisfied with a highly legal Japanese car (a.k.a. 510)

ooooh, that R34...
What’s the story with the Mark XIII with the Cobra air dam?
Gimme that McLaren, Polestar Volvo, and the Defender, and I’ll show you a filled garage.

Good selection showed up there. Was that shiny bronze/copper BMW a wrap job? And I find it amusing but not surprising that someone “James Bond submarine-styled” their car. I wouldn’t; but I get it.

Before buying my AMC I looked REALLY hard for a 510 up here in Calgary, put out a 2000 km search net for about 4-5 months. Found no good examples.

I usually associate the 355 in blue with tan interior, targa body and gated manual. F430 and 458 however, those are only red to me

Damn, I need to get my ass to some bigger car shows. I miss them
These are just getting prettier and prettier. I wish they were in my price range

Some of them might be not as bad, but the one my neighbour owns is just as tragic is people are saying.

It was grey and in a dark parking deck so that could have made it look better

An unmolested, or lightly modded, or decent-shape example, yup, unobtanium. Can find them here and there, but mostly as rusted out heaps, or old rally car shells, or someone’s already ripped out the motor and done a rotary or Hyabusa swap.
I really like the 620 trucks too. Also the same scenario.

There were like seven of them, I was too busy talking to a friend of mine that I forgot to take pics
